Every year, Joel and Wendy look forward to escaping life in the city, and retreat to the natural surroundings of Maine. They have an ongoing photographic project, documenting the interesting people and compelling landscapes they see on their favorite Maine island. A few years ago they were invited to photograph the Bicentennial celebration of the small island town they call "home" in the summer.
